The care given to my mum was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and everyone was kind and friendly.

Becky was kind, supportive and trustworthy. She listened, gave advice and allowed me to feel like i was heard. She supported me through the loss of my mum, allowed me to grieve and reassured me that how i was feeling was completely understandable. I am so glad that St Peter’s gave me the opportunity to have therapy. I would recommend to anyone.

Jen Wilston was amazing she made me feel like im not alone and that grieving is normal I'm disappointed that there isn't much session there should be more until the patient is 100% feeling there self she is a legend give her a gold star from me Becky Ross. I felt like I had a purpose in my life and that my dad would be proud of how I have become in the last year and im going to see improving myself Jen has made me feel so much better these past couple of weeks was looking forward to her phone calls just talk about what's been on my mind and wlhow I'm feeling there's nothing more I can say expect she's a legend I wish there was more sessions. Thank you so much Jen Wilston ur a legend.

The hospice at home team provided support for my husband and myself for the last week on his life following discharge from hospital. All the staff who visit, either to assess or provide care, were great. There were times when we felt that we didn't need a visit and it was straightforward to cancel a visit.

Firstly, I feel I must give a BIG thank you to Ralph in spiritual care, for moving mountains and accommodate us in getting married at very short notice. Having been staying at the brilliant St Peters Hospice for just over 4 weeks,. Ralph went out of his way to help us and last Friday my partner and I were able to have a lovely wedding at the hospice. We both couldn't be happier with the care and support we have received.

There was absolutely nothing that i could fault regarding the care and compassion shown to my wife in her last days, or to myself. The emotional support that i recieved made it much easier for me to focus on my wife and to have the guidance and reassurance was invaluble. It enabled me to help my wife, which has helped with the grief (so far). Also, the trust i felt in the carers enabled me to leave her for short periods and shower / rest although i was very unsettled when not with her. Knowing that they would be calling after a long night was also a great reassurance. Its a real pity that you only get to see this level of care and dedication when things are so tough but it is exactly when that is needed. It was perfect. To be able to trust people I've only just met, with the most valuble part of my life is so amazing and comforting.
